It's not. In short, I think that's just noted on the part of the website to clarify that Comirnaty is the same thing as the killshots being discussed in the article just with a different label/name, not that they had actually been injected with the as-yet unavailable branded shot.

I think it being noted in parenthesis is them trying make it clear that the "FDA approved" one with this new name on its label has the same contents in the vials as the old vials. As the contents are the same, the effects will be the same. "Rebranding" is a common tactic to 'shed' association with a bad reputation. People will be saying "Oh, Comirnaty is FDA approved though, so even if you thought the old one was dangerous, this one is safe!" despite it being identical to the old killshots. By associating the new name that'll be advertised and pushed with the effects of the old one it could help prevent or lessen the disassociation between the former name and the rebranded name.

It's not, but now that it's been "approved," people are going to start expecting to see that name.
