In 1981, the famous American writer Dean Koontz wrote a book called "Eyes of Darkness," which refers to a bacteriological weapon called Wuhan 400, which the author predicted would spread around the world in 2020. The weapon, according to the book, affects the lungs and bronchi and is not amenable to modern disease control methods.
However, this is, of course, just cohencidence and fiction.
