While I'd believe most if not all of this stuff, the article looks really sus. Like something that would be ai generated and published to a fake journal.

The guy seems for real, his timeline with starting a 3-year fellowship at NIAID in 1988 tracks with his Wikipedia page:

He received his M.D. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 1988, his M.B.A. from Columbia University in 1992 and obtained his medical license in October 1997.

He's also an evil anti-vaxxer, FWIW.
