In the UK (and some other places) they "treated" COVID patients with palliative care protocols that involved giving a combination of morphine and midazolam, both of which are respiratory depressants. An acute respiratory infection is never grounds for a palliative care protocol.
About 5% of health care workers are angels. Dedicated, good souls who truly want to help the injured and infirmed. 90% are there just for the paycheck. You are a pita that they have to deal with. More work. But it's the last 5% you need to watch out for. They will actively try to kill you.
