This may be more visible in Japan. They eat much fish relative to the U.S. Japan sees more stroke and less heart disease because of lower cholesterol diet. (Cholesterol lowers stroke risk while raising heart risk, I have read.) This will stick out in their statistics.

Inb4 dietary cholesterol is not such a problem, yeah, yeah.
