Graphene Oxide is graphene contaminated with various other things like oxygen and/or hydrogen. It's thought that if we could purify it, that it would make a cheep n ezy source of graphene since it's just graphite treated with oxidizers. Graphene is of use in better semiconductors among other things.

It's a toxic material and can accumulate in organs.
