Graphene Oxide is graphene contaminated with various other things like oxygen and/or hydrogen. It's thought that if we could purify it, that it would make a cheep n ezy source of graphene since it's just graphite treated with oxidizers. Graphene is of use in better semiconductors among other things.

It's a toxic material and can accumulate in organs.

The name graphene oxide is the basic term for all monolayer graphene derivatives that contain oxygen atoms. Similar to graphite oxide, but only one layer of atoms. It contains carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen in variable ratios that produce very different kinds of stuff - and you can add metals and a lot of other stuff that changes it even more, so the normally harmless graphite can become toxic.

Graphene oxide is usually made from graphene combined with metallic hydrogen. It is toxic and a carcinogen. When properly doped, can pass the blood brain barrier.

So you're saying oxides are made by the addition of hydrogen rather than oxygen. I think you need to brush up on your chemistry.

It's why the injections are actually metallic graphene oxide, mGO.

Apparently it readily binds to oxygen creating the oxide. You need to read the papers on the topic.
