The usefullness of alternate medicine is undisputed, as it's the foundation of modern chemical medicine, but when targeting a specific ailment or illness, it's a "either/or".. unless you positively can say the one doesn't interfer with the other.
(My mother possibly died from her body not responding accordingly to perscribed chemical medicines, because of simultaneous intake of alternate medicines)
Regarding Covid-19, i'd be super careful claiming anything but some relief of symptoms for the unvaccinated population exclusively..
