This document is the real deal, right off their official govt website. Assholes. The main page this link is on is all about telling you to get your covid shot too.

My understanding is that when you get a cold you do in fact become immune to that strain but there are still a million other strains out there that can affect you. So while you can't be immunized against a family of viruses you can become immune to a single strain. That's how our natural immune system works.
