Interesting. I see businesses already enforcing this and had no idea the rules aren’t even written yet. Corporate are dick heads
Which ones, most of the big ones aren’t doing shit until the see the fine print. A few have been giving free rapid tests for over a year.
From yesterday:
I doubt it will go into effect, he’s playing chicken with companies and employees. How many people ran out yesterday and today to get a shot, do we have figures? He’ll be a dick and release the “law” the day before it takes effect or he’s is bluffing to scare people to get the vaccine and won’t release anything at all. If he does release a law an injunction will be put into place almost immediately.
You remember obama threatening to remove the second amendment by EO in two weeks, liberals cheered and it ended up being a nothing burger.
I just read an article yesterday from major businesses and they don’t care, they don’t think it will hold up in court and aren’t doing anything until it’s over.
Most companies said they’d provide free home rapid tests to their employees, even though they wish everyone would get a vaccine they realize it’s a personal choice. Which is odd hearing that from major corporations. Some have already been giving out free tests for a year already.
They also claimed that with incentives and as time has passed and “vaccine hesitant” employees see that other vaxxed employees are fine and they’ve been steadily increasing their vax rate. But Biden screwed it all up and now they’re back to square one and employees won’t budge.
Only one company was giddy and said now it levels the playing field, we couldn’t implement a vaccine mandate before because we’d lose all our employees but since everyone will have to be vaxxed they have no place to go. She should be strung up.
Bed bath and beyond said they won’t force their employees to do anything against their will. Along with other major companies that are going to refuse.
Is he going to fine them out of business, I can’t wait for the lawsuits if he does release something.
And how do you process 80 million tests a week or produce enough rapid tests.
And ohsa/department of labor can only make a rule if a hazardous material/chemical is detected in the workplace. Which covid isn’t and if it was why did Biden what 9 months and then wait to have it go into effect on December 1st if it’s such an emergency?
