Cheese burgers aren't really bad for you. The bun is the worst part.

Based on "Supersize Me" the fries were the worst. But that movie was basically an Ad for McDonalds.

I normal sized cheese burger is fine. America has to make it 2 half pound patties, 5 slices of cheese, 4 slices of bacon and a ton of mayo. A 400 calorie burger is now 2000 calories, a bucket of fries and a big gulp which is 30% sugar. Nation of gluttonous fat disgusting beasts

The point is the inflammatory bread and oils are hell on health. Worse of all, the refined carbs and sugars are formulated to inhibit satiety signaling and induce hunger signals more frequently in such that people think it is normal to eat every 1-2 hours.

If people ate what you mentioned minus the bread and sugar they would not be able to eat it all because the satiety signaling will come roaring.

It takes a bit of conditioning for them to get that signal. It's not like they can one day throw away the bun and feel full. And the culture of instant gratification will never allow them to wait the few days to get to that point.

You just love eating sausages, you sausage. Stop hating on bread. Carbs fuel our brains. Just don't eat commercial bakery 'products' and of course, avoid 'fast foods'.

Indeed, the burger patty is without doubt the least toxic part of a fast food meal, but it's also the least cost-effective to produce which is why there is such urgency in the industry to replace it. A whopper for example is around 65% plant based by calories, with the nutrition almost exclusively in the patty. The whole meal including fries and soda is over 90% plant based without any extra nutrition.
