Note the careful use of language. The FDA is clear that livestock dosages are bad for humans. But if you get river blindness, they will prescribe a human dose of Ivermectin that will be safe and effective.

My 50-pound dog gets Ivermectin, and oddly enough, NOT in the dosage needed for a 1 ton bull.
