I personally seen this statement come true within minutes of SECDEF re-instated mask mandates on military installations. Folks that have been sitting side-by-side bullshittin' and carrying on for years, dropped what they were doing to mask-up.. it was fucking repulsive to see.

When the lockdowns started you'd see idiots in their cars, alone, wearing a mask. Or walking by themselves outside. I saw a lady jogging in a park in a mask, there wasn't a soul anywhere near her. We laughed at them but in the heightened emotions of the time it was somewhat understandable.
I recall seeing a guy in a mask riding a motorcycle. That was pretty funny though and deserving of abuse. Particularly as he was wearing a helmet so he couldn't have forgotten to take the mask off. It was one of those 'brain bucket' helmets that Harley riders favor.
Anyhow when I see these people today I agree that there must be something wrong with them. And by wrong I mean literal insanity.
