Around 15,000 people have died from the virus in African countries over the past 50 years.
DR Congo’s deadliest outbreak was between 2018 and 2020, during which nearly 2,300 people died.
They’re currently barking at us over 88 deaths. Ebola was nothing more than a side story back when nearly 2,300 died, so if they declare a pandemic for anything less than that they’re just making a big deal out of nothing to try to scare and manipulate us.
The question is, will they lie and inflate the death numbers?
They could. How do any of us know what’s going on in Africa?
They might be able to do what they did with COVID-19. They could come up with a test with a high false positive rate and mark everyone who tests positive as an Ebola case.
Either way, I’m not buying it. Ebola was never an emergency in the developed world and it never will be unless they manage to engineer a highly contagious version that can spread in less filthy societies.
