I got a ticket for jogging.
"The park is closed."
"What's closed? You mean the tape you had all over the picnic tables and playground? I'm no where near that."
"The entire park is closed. We can't have people here interacting."
"I would be alone in the woods if you weren't bothering me."
"I'm giving you a ticket."
No, I didn't pay it.
good on you for not paying. Imagine being the guy who finally pushes through the paperwork of the countless number of violations, who finally making it to your case. By the time they got their it sounds like no one in you jurisdiction wanted to be the idiot to enforce the ticket. I hope alot of people didnt pay the fine and there were too many violations of a dumbass "law" for officers to want to go through the trouble.
Worked in a hospital that had multiple ward-like ICU's. If a patient had something unpleasant and contagious the genius managers would put f*ing red tape around the bed.
