I've been taking the horse stuff, dosage by weight. Yes it's slightly different, not enough to matter. It's like worrying about a pixel when the medium is embroidery.
If you're worried about the unknowns in vaccines and despise them as poison because you demand very long term data, why aren't just as concerned about the unknown inactive ingredients, which are formulated differently and in different quantities, in veterinary-use Ivermectin? There may be long term side-effects for using the veterinary formulated Ivermectin instead of the human version (we have decades of data on the human version for human use).
Also, Ivermectin can be contraindicated with some conditions and other medicines.
Please tell me you looked that shit up, matched it against your mom's chart and conditions, and ensured you aren't going to cause her problems a week or so from now?
Also, Ivermectin is intended for single use or very small acute use. Taking it day after day will cause it to build up in the system to toxic levels. There is a "good use period" for COVID-19 patients. I don't know of any clinically approved dosing protocols that have been researched, peer reviewed, results duplicated, and published in a reputable journal (which is the rigor we expect from vaccines so it is also the rigor we should expect for off-label uses from truly remarkable miracle cures like Ivermectin) for COVID-19 Ivermectin use. So I have no good advice to give here.
Anyway, sorry, just made me worry that you may be poisoning your mother after her miraculous recovery (sounds like Ivermectin did the trick so it is not really a miracle). I'm sure your mother is thankful you didn't buy into the bullshit and kept an open mind enough to recommend Ivermectin. Perhaps this opened her mind up, too, and it helps you grow closer as a family.
Well unfortunately waiting for double blind studies in North America where they are actively trying to kill us, aren't going to happen.
I do know however, that horses are super expensive and causing a death from an animal of that cost would not be tolerated, so I feel safer taking the vet version than the human version.

No, no, don't misunderstand me: we agree. For sure. I'm saying we (a lot of folks on Poal) have quite harsh requirements for vaccines. So why not the same rigor for off-label of other drugs? We don't have to lose our intelligent minds just because it becomes a meme to hate or love a certain thing, right? Sad that we have to do our own research, yes, but it's as close as possible.

While this seems like great logic, it's just not relevant. Horses are an entirely different species than humans. By a long shot. What kills a horse may not kill you and vice versa. What makes a horse sick may not make you sick and vice versa.
