Like all money from the government, it was already my money but they are making it seem like free money in every way they can. "Congratulation! We are just going to deposit money in your bank account every month!" In my case they said they were going to send me about $450 every month and they made it really hard to opt out.
This is an obvious and transparent attempt to get Americans used to getting a check from the government every month. It is also a clear transfer of wealth from tax payers to immigrants and welfare recipients.
Easy sign up for low-income families to reduce child poverty. If you didn’t make enough to be required to file taxes in 2020 or 2019, you can still get benefits.

Now it makes sense... all of the demographics that the left wants to transfer wealth to tend to have more children than others.
