These houses are not monolithic, they are made of concrete. Which cracks. Plus, they are ugly as sin.

You're right that they aren't monolithic, I was trying to find a link to a company that made a true monolithic dome home but I'm afraid it may have gone down the memory hole. I disagree on the aesthetics. I find them very appealing.
