Major Hardware the YouTuber has the Fan Showdown series in which people make mods to the Noctua fans to compete for ranking on the leaderboard for a few fan parameters. MH does a lot of his own builds and mods too that use Noctua fans. His latest fan uses 15 Noctua fans to replace the side panel of his PC case in a hemispherical arrangement that is pretty crazy. He mentions Noctua releasing the 3D models in the build. I suspect Noctua released them because of this guys videos. Check him out if you're interested in Noctua fans and crazy fan mods.
