Interesting, that could be useful even for /s/HomeLab or /s/SelfHosted stuff, assuming you are using Ubiquiti at home.

From the post:

>My most recent hobby project has been Terrifi, a Terraform provider to manage my home UniFi network. At the time of writing, the provider supports my entire home UniFi network, it’s live on the OpenTofu Registry, I just released version 0.2.0, and it might be ready enough for others to try. The provider also includes a CLI that makes it trivial to import existing resources to Terraform files. This is my first end-to-end “vibe-coded” project, built mostly using Claude Code. I’ve used Terraform a lot over the years, and I’ve implemented some mildly-interesting modules, but I’ve never written a provider, and I’ve never used Golang in any serious capacity.

I guess even with a complicated network, if the design is logical, then “editing the network by writing text” is fucking stupid.

It’s like letting Apple Music manage your mp3 collection. You come back and it’s all gutter fucked in one folder with no organization.

It’s like putting all files in a trash can because you have a search engine. “Muh can find it fine”

No fucktard, use logical human approaches regardless of what interface is available today

IaC is good. You disagree, you are wrong.

I’ll stand on being wrong. Like when I was wrong about docker being a huge fucking security risk. Let’s run sommeone else’s server on my hardware.

Course I continue to be proven right on that…along with many other things.

Docker is retarded, it is two tier retarded. Programmatically defining a state for you infra and systems is not.
