Hope you have good backups. I had one of those, it died. Randomly. I don't overclock or do anything crazy.

Bad luck maybe, these drives have had an excellent reputation for some time. Did they get you a new drive? It should have a 5 year warranty.

No, I just replaced it. The red mist descended and I had the cash on hand to buy the one I should have purchased.

If you've had good luck with them, then I wish you continued success with them. I've had horrible luck with Samsung electronics outside of TVs.
