This is the printer I have that I used to use for color printing or projects that called for inkjet. It also was my fax machine up until I stopped having a landline like 6 years ago. I’ve pretty much used my monochrome laser exclusively for years.

I have a need to use it to print color but it’s not working. The color cartridges are 3 individual colors. I haven’t printed color in years. No amount of cleaning cycles helps. Basically all three have nothing coming out. I’ve replaced all the toner carts with new ones but still (almost) nothing is coming out.

I’m inclined to just pull the carts out and dump rubbing alcohol everywhere but that’s probably not a good idea. I’m now $45 into new ink and I have this vinyl sticker paper I want to use. Anyone have any ideas to get this thing spraying color again?

Yeah I just meant figure out how to get it out of there.

91% ISO is about $4 a quart at WallyWorld.

I just scored 32oz of 91% for under a dollar from CVS so I’ve got plenty to dump on it. Bath time!

Let it soak. The more ink that bleeds out the better.
