Funny enough, I had a conversation about this exact topic about 10 years ago with an extreme leftist coworker. He said we shouldn't call them users due "negative connotations." I told him that he should worry about actually doing his job rather stupid gay word policing. He got mad and left. Ended up quitting in a huff like 3-4 weeks later when I shit talked him for not only coming in late but then spending 3 hours recompiling his OS for no fucking reason. The IT sector can really breed some stupid douchebags that's for sure.
