Whatever happens, do not re-irrigate the San Joaquin valley with the already built and paid for canals. We would not want all that food And jobs. And commerce. And money.

America does not need to import food. It just needs to stop building houses for morons on farm land. Also, you should not be expecting to get things out of season unless you have your own greenhouse and are doing that intentionally. It's not normal.

That may be true but should it? Seasonal is Seasonal for a reason. Either way. The point is clear. We can grow basically everything we need if we get rid of the commies/progressives.
