When you steal money meant for local taxpayers and give it to illegals, you get this.

When you turn a blind eye to fare jumping, fare evasion, you get this.

There's a concept called Hauser's law that states that taxes can only go up to about 17% before pushback occurs. This means people will thwart paying more.
