From the post:

>California governor Gavin Newsom's proposed new budget would slash funding for the police as the state struggles with a massive deficit of at least $45 billion. Last month the Democrat unveiled his budget for the next fiscal year, admitting that 'difficult decisions' are needed to address the state's deficit - including a 1.6 percent reduction in the state's Department of Justice's overall funding. The proposed budget includes a $97 million cut to trial court operations, $10 million to the Department of Justice's Division of Law Enforcement and over $80 million to the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, as reported by Fox News.

If you want to destroy an area, go easy on criminals and defund the police. Then when things get worse, defund the police more, and continue to be soft on crime.

Pretty soon parts of California will be run by cartels. Eventually the federal government will have to step in.

Of course, Newsom is a member of a crime family, so that's what he wants.

He could turn this around in 20 seconds by announcing tough-on-crime policies.

How else are you able to buy up all of the prize real estate for pennies on the dollar, enact massive crime reform, build more jails then make billions of dollars "re-developing" the area?

The criminals love him BUT, when the gangs Own Cal. where does this little twit think he will be safe? Because the Disarmed citizens will NOT protect him.

He's a democrat politician. Our tax dollars will pay for him to have 24/7 armed security and a bullet proof SUV.

And even more Californians will be fleeing to my state where they will ruin it as well by continuing to vote Democrat...

Sadly that is how it goes. I cant remember what thread it was in but there was a suggestion that you don't have the right to vote (locally) for like 7 years after you move. Its not a terrible idea.

Maybe the only exceptions being if you buy (outright, not with lending) land or if you bring in a business? I don't know if that would be enough to weed out the 'bad' voters.
