Let me tell you my story.

I was as technician. In between repairs I would meticulously clean my work bench before the next job. I was my companies highest earning tech.

One day the owner of our company was walking executive visitors from our biggest vendor through the workshop pointing out other technicians hard at work with their messy benches.

Then he gets to my bench. Looks at how clean it was and tells these Japanese visitors that clearly I didn't do much work or have anything to do.
