THIS IS MY FUCKING STORY.

One of our employees tested positive for Covid early 2020 and they were gushing over her, telling her how they are here for her and will support her in any way she needs blah blah blah blah.

I start having cardiac problems due to the stress of my position, being a hard worker and all, and when I addressed it they were basically like "Damn, that sucks, but no one else can do your job soooo... figure something out."

Ended up being forced to quit so that I didn't end up in a hospital. Didn't even qualify for unemployment because it wasn't FUCKING COVID. Goddamn I fucking hate this country.

Unless it's a family business. Then it's based. Teach your sons your trade and pass on what you have built.

I think that some bosses of small companies can be really good guys that will go out of their way to help out employees. That is almost never going to happen with the corporation.

And corporations want the same dedication of employees. It's pretty crazy really.

Mhm. My cousin found out he has MS at 21. I really want to build a company and hire him so we can plan and prepare for the illness as it advances.

It must be horrible going through life with such a big unknown. I want a good family business with a role that can always fit him no matter how physically hindered he becomes.

I find this "we're family" stuff absolutely creepy. No relationships are as one-sided as family relationships.

You can choose friends and professional partners. You can make terms on the relationship. It is really fucking difficult to leave your family no matter how toxic it is. Cults love to call their members "brother" and "sister" for possibly this very reason. In family you might have unreasonable (or entirely reasonable) expectations and get disappointed if they are not met. In a professional relationship the other person will not tell embarrassing childhood stories from you to complete strangers. And I could go on and on.

Why choose to be family if instead you could be professionals. Or Friends.

To be fair, some real families are like that as well

Most barely-skilled millennial employees now expect this royal treatment but will quit for a slightly better offer at the drop of a hat. They want the company to act like it is 1950 and show endless loyalty while they behave like fickle toddlers themselves.

My company says we're a family and then fires a guy for coming in tardy. Come on man that isn't how you treat family even if they're perpetually late. The 2 people I've seen that happen to...one of them was a superior agent who found innovation resolutions. The other guy was insane and unliked by everyone but me (because I like crazy Charles Manson type characters not fit for this world.) but the first guy was totally legit and we shouldn't have fired him. He was like family.

You've got your cause and effect mixed up there, bro. Companies have no desire to actually invest in their employees. They have no loyalty to their local communities or economies because half the time they're owned by faggots who live on the other side of the country, or maybe the other side of the world.

Millennials and whoever have no real choice but to act like mercs and take the best deal available at any given time, because they're treated like disposable assets by every company anyway.

The shithole I work for has taken every single opportunity to cut hours and cut jobs. I haven't seen a full time posting in over 2 years and my hours got cut in half during this scamdemic. I guess in your mind I'm supposed to be a good loyal little homo so that some nigger hundreds of miles away keeps getting rich? Dumb.

OK, so take your amazing skills and find a company that "values you" instead of bitching.

Most Millennials can't do shit. They can't manage their time, they can't manage their own tasks, and they can barely even make a phone call to a vendor/supplier/customer/coworker without suffering a meltdown.

I always tell these little fucks that they need to be men and come see me in person if they want more money to stay after getting another offer. That's fine, it's how business has always been done. Two men staring at each other until they each an agreement. Instead, these soy fucks say everything is great and then as soon as you give them something important to do they ghost and run away to another job. Cowardly momma's boy fucks.

If you work for some woke female-led mega-company that is another issue entirely and on you.

Most boomers couldn't do shit, either. They just got jobs, worked, made money, and made livings. Do you think past gens had some special, amazing skills and work ethic? Lol. Millennials are doing the same thing boomers did, only our globalized economy is completely fucked and provides us with a tiny fraction of the job stability and purchasing power that it did to past gens.

Oldfags like you will never understand because you always take personal credit for the superior world and economy you grew up under. Not every millennial is some soy fag, just like not every boomer was a hard worker (they were the fucking hippies, remember?).

The main difference is the environment we live in. You're basically taking the side of kike globalists who have pillaged our domestic economies for personal gain, against normal people who just want to work and earn a modest living without being treated like niggers. All because you happened to be born in a better time.
