Comedian Huey Haha died Monday at age 22, from an undisclosed injury. Rumors say he was shot in the head, foul play is not initially suspected. Being Poal, most of you are probably unfamiliar with Huey. I think he was Vietnamese, based out of Stockton, CA, famous mostly for his short video sketches, although he was branching out into standup as well. With an audience of 300k+, he was on the cusp of becoming a star. He is survived by a 2 year old daughter. You might wonder why I eulogize this tattooed gook who, on the surface appeared to glorify the west coast 'Asian gangster' lifestyle. Huey understood the pain and futility of that life, yet was born and bred into it. His sketches were often based on the ideas of hubris and humility, and recognizing the influences, both positive and negative, of popular culture.
