Humans and their well-behaved golden retrievers will gather in Golden from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The golden retriever gathering features a meet and greet at Parfet Park and on Washington Avenue with pup treats, photo opportunities, pet vendors, and official merchandise. In the heart of Golden, Washington Avenue will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Organizers said only leashed, trained, and friendly dogs are allowed.
