All these problems are created by the liberal administrators/teachers.
“Colorado public schools are facing an annual funding shortfall of up to $3.5-$4 billion, or roughly $4,600 per student”
Let’s imagine we’re talking about a grade school, K-5, with 2 classes per grade of 20 students each.
$4,600 x 20 = $92,000
1 teacher, $50,000 salary, $20,000 in benefits leaves $22,000 for admin and infrastructure.
$22,000 x 12 = $264,000.00 for admin staff and maintenance.
You could ALMOST run a school on what their deficit is, but they tax us more like $50,000 per student. And where does it go? Students are in the worst position they’ve been in since public schools began. And teachers can have a summer job to make more money, like every teacher I’ve ever known.
