Often, the cops do actually arrest people and jail them. It's the DA's and others that let them out making the cops effort worth fuck-all so all of the "good cops" leave states like this. It is by design but the left really fucking hates it when you point it out. Wyoming has border billboards saying things like "Join Wyoming PD. Where we still enforce the law". Commierado has been extremely pissed about that for over a year now.
