Depending on your line of work, there are lots of cheaper places. I drove through Stephenville, weathford, abilene, and those areas a month ago....lots of shit for sale, lots of cheaper places, less rules, less city liberals.
Stay away from Midland odessa. No issue with pipeliners, oil field trash, but the niggers and spics are thick looking for work.
Stay away from any city that a californian can name. DFW, Htown, Atown, SAT, El Negro.
Stay away from the panhandle, its just Colorado without mountains.
Stay at least 10 miles off of any interstate.
Do buy on, or close to an older US highway...many here.
Enjoy the Koffee Kup Kafe in Hico if you can ever get close....they were shut down back in the late 80's...had to change the name to Koffee Kup Family Restaurant.....after a nigger was found camping in one of their tree branches.
