According to a social media post shared by the Weld County Sheriff's Office on behalf of the 19th Judicial Critical Incident Response Team, the fatal shooting took place just before 4:30 p.m. in the 600 block of 27th Street Road in Garden City. Officers were chasing the man, who was wanted for misdemeanor and felony charges, on foot.
