The company announced the closures during a call Wednesday with investors on the second-quarter financial results. The company’s revenue decreased 0.7% to $126.4 million from the $127.4 million reported in the second quarter of 2024. Noodles & Company CEO Drew Drew Madsen said the company delivered “positive comparable restaurant sales of 1.5% in the second quarter despite a challenging consumer environment.” Madsen, who is stepping down as CEO for personal medical reasons, said in a statement that sales and traffic had moderated after an initially successful rollout of a new menu, due in part to the “strong value-conscious climate.”
