Yea light poles are almost always 277v or 480v.

I'm curious what exactly they were using to transform 277v into 120v. I can't imagine they had a transformer lying around somewhere.

You underestimate their want for power and how much money they get begging or from the state.

Kind of wondering how they do that since those are usually at least 220, sometimes 277 or more.

They're progressing. Soon the homeless will take to digging out subterranean tunnels, and will have their wires tap into underground wires so finding them will become even more difficult.
