South Metro Fire Rescue has had a busy Saturday, reporting three vegetation fires in under two hours. Multiple units responded to a small, moving grass fire at the Normandy Estates Pool and Tennis Club in unincorporated Jefferson County. SMFR said the fire was near the pool and fence line but was under control around 12:40 p.m., and crews were mopping up. The agency said the fire was about 100 yards by 3 feet wide.
