Steffan Tubbs, the DEA’s public information officer, told FOX31’s Kasia Kerridge that two people were taken into custody near Mississippi Avenue and Quebec Street in the Washinton Virginia Vale neighborhood in southeast Denver. Tubbs said the arrests were related to drug trafficking and money laundering. The DEA does not believe the suspects are related to the Venezuelan gang called Tren de Aragua but said agents will be in the area for a little while while they continue to investigate.
