There, I fixed it for you Colorado/Denver. "If it saves just one life". Yeah, leave the fucking criminals locked up. One life would have been saved if this criminal piece of shit was still locked up. If you murder someone at that age.. You are never going to be reformed.
Don't try to give me some sad fucking story about growing up "rough" or something like that. There are plenty of people that grew up on hard times in hard places that didn't turn into criminal murdering pieces of shit before they are even 18. No sympathy, charge as an adult and send them to a state that still executes murders.
