Details are limited, but the agencies issued a joint press release about the incident saying officers responded to a report of a man with a handgun at a residence in the Cedar Mountain Trailer Park, located at 925 W. 1st Street, at about 9:40 p.m. “Arriving on scene, the officer and deputy were confronted by a male subject brandishing a handgun. An officer-involved shooting occurred,” the press release stated.
