I have never tried to do this and didn't know it was really a thing. Maybe ill try to find some. I really need to take a mycology class and get out and do some mushroom hunting though.

A bunch of Chinese students were in the general Wyoming/Colorado area years ago and went out mushroom hunting. However, they did not familiarize themselves with the local variants and ended up picking up several extremely toxic mushrooms (I think they got some deathcaps) because they looked like a common mushroom they would get in China.. yeah, I think all of them died (Fairly sure it was like 6 people).
