While I agree that water is a precious resource to be conserved, I oppose laws that nitpick and harass folks with a broken sprinkler head.

I like Xeriscaping with native plants that needs minimal water, but most folks think of Xeriscaping as Zero-scaping and just put down rock, which requires no water, but also is ugly and ends up full of weeds. If you have dogs, you’d want a lawn, less mud and dirt is tracked in and it’s pleasant and cooling in the summer. We need a turf that is nice, but requires less water than Kentucky Blue Grass. I’d prefer to see these options pushed instead of HOA rules that require thirsty lawns, and local laws that punish overuse.

Lets just tell vegas to fuck themselves for building a massive city in the middle of nowhere in the desert. Also, completely cut off Mexico from the Colorado river source. They keep allowing illegals into our country we should stop allowing water to flow into theirs.
