Oftentimes, buses, trains and facilities become havens or gathering points for unhoused or drug-addicted communities. RTD is launching a pilot program at three elevator locations to “limit illegal activities and address long-standing complaints from customers.” The elevators at the Nine Mile, Colorado and Southmoor stations will be reprogrammed to rest on each floor with the doors open."
