"An Aurora brewery owner is searching for answers after thousands of dollars worth of beef and pork was stolen from his smoker around 4 a.m. on Saturday.
The situation unfolded on East Iliff Avenue at Six Capital Brewing and BBQ.
The owner, Blake Butler said the thieves came out with bolt cutters and cut every single lock off the smoker, taking at least $5,000 worth of inventory.
“Our brisket is fantastic, our pork is fantastic, chicken wings — we smoke ’em first — everything’s fantastic, you can’t go wrong,” said Butler.
It’s what went wrong early Saturday morning that had Butler and his staff shocked and confused."
