Sounds like more possible gang shooting / yuth violence. They really try not to say it out loud though. This is the second time in about 4 days where "two groups of people started shooting at each other".
Police said it is believed shots were fired after a fight broke out between two separate groups of people at the mall.

Police responded to a shots fired call at the mall at around 4:34 p.m. and found the victim dead from a gunshot wound.
According to a release, two other men were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds and a third victim — a woman — suffered minor injuries. The two men who were injured in the shooting were listed in serious condition Monday morning."
