Some people are really pissed off about this. Im mixed on the idea. Re-introducing predator populations can help control heard sizes and decrease disease and improve the nature areas they are in.. On the other side. They commonly attack livestock and sometimes people.

Sometimes I think this is the government trying to intentionally put pressure on farmers/ranchers since it is usually illegal to shoot a problem predator that is killing your livestock.. and they usually refuse to trap and relocate it.

From the post: "Colorado Parks & Wildlife completed its goal to introduce 10 gray wolves in the state by the end of 2023 on Friday, CPW confirmed in a press release.

According to CPW, its team completed its agreement to capture 10 gray wolves in Oregon and then release them in the state to work toward restoring a permanent population in Colorado. So no more capture and releases are expected for the remainder of 2023."
