Wait, what? The title says that they are going to stop gender affirming surgery, the top line of the article says they "never preformed gender surgery on children". Something is not lining up here. It looks like they were not preforming surgery on under 18 year old's but they did everything up to that point including scheduling surgery the second after they turn 18?

These people need therapy, not surgery.

Children's Hospital Colorado said gender-affirming care has led to threats at other children's hospitals nationwide. Now it is no longer providing gender-affirming surgery for people over 18. The hospital never offered those surgeries for minors.

The way they mix up language should be fought against by the people, the users of every day language. Gender-affirming actually is Mental illness affirming surgery to make pretend that you can change gender for the mentally ill. It's really gender reality denial.

That is how the left/progressives work. They warp language so they can make semantic arguments that have no basis in reality or fact. Never let them "define the terms". If they want to use some mixed up terms, force them to specify exactly what it is and the context then tell them "Right, so mutilating children's genitals. You are just trying to make it sound like a good thing".
