No matter how you cut it. Anything near or a part of the Denver metro area is shit. Nederland CO used to be a chill and safe place until Denver started a bus route to it. Now you cannot hike around the town because drugged out meth heads have tent cities in the woods. At least 3-4 times a year there are articles telling you "Its not safe to hike near Nederland".

Its shit. I have a friend that lives there. They bought a house ~4 years ago in what looks like a really nice area. They cant walk their dogs at the park a couple of blocks away anymore because there are too many used needles and violent homeless people.

I have not been to Loveland for years but when I had family that lived there ~10-ish years ago it was a great place and was fairly safe. Like everywhere else in the metro area (even all of the way to Ft Collins) its all turned to shit.
