I would of rescued it with a bullet in the chest, and proceeded to make elk roast.

I'm not sure I made myself clear on this.

I spent this morning watching coast guard rescue clips on Youtube, but all of that pales in comparison to elk rescue video.

I might have to buy a swimming pool in the hopes than one day an elk will become trapped there, so I can see it live.

I also watched a video of a dog being rescued from frozen pond, video not worth posting, but I love animal rescues. The dog was weak and half frozen, but wagging his tail as soon as he had footing.
