As ridiculous as it is what he is saying checks out for the province of Quebec. A guide to Canadian photography laws (cippic.ca) says this about distributing identifiable images of a person in Quebec:

In Quebec, privacy is protected by a person's “right to respect for his private life” under the Quebec Charter.

I don’t know if that means the thief would have to sue you, or the police could charge you. It sounds like the latter.

The police would have to be dicks to charge someone because of this. The question is, are the Quebec police warning us that a porch thief might press charges, or are they warning us that the police might?

I doubt there is a case for defamation though. You’re not lying and saying the person robbed your property, you’re posting video evidence of it.

Yea, zog has gone full retarded. Although what happens when the individual steps onto (your) private property to walk away with your belongings ?/

And then isnt msm doing the very same thing using footage of trucker/ holo-cov/ anti trans protests to dox / identify participants for the cops to levy fines / charge or to set the gaylords against?.
